Hand Lay – up Moulding
All tooling required for the vacuum moulding and cold press moulding projects is produced in house, using polyester, vinyl ester or epoxy resins and gelcoats. Reinforcements used have featured chopped strand mats, woven and bi-axial fabrics, carbon fibre and also coremat.
Also produced have been one off dedicated components for specific projects such as the hydro-cyclone featured below, for which Movevirgo Limited produced the pattern and then moulded the hydro-cyclone, prior to it being fitted into its support frame and the inside surfaces being coated with PU to protect against wear.
